Regarding translations:
I always thought everyone who knew about this vox came from LJ and would know about my rules/policies regarding my translations, but just in case you came across this from somewhere else:

Translator's notes:
1. Standard disclaimer:  For ALL translations posted in my vox, please be aware that these are not necessarily 100%.  I am not Japanese, just a poor grad student who took the equivalent of four years of college Japanese.  However, translations for STORMY are spot-checked, so those should be in good shape.
2. Please ask first and credit if any of the following are used for subs.  The few translations from written sources are NOT to be used for scanlations.  Also, please link back to the original entry, i.e. DO NOT TAKE TRANSLATIONS OUT OF MY VOX.  Also, if you use these translations, DO NOT UPLOAD ONTO STREAMING SITES PERIOD (cuts or no).
3. No requesting, period.  I only translate clips where I feel I have a good grasp of what's going on and only when I have time to do so.

Finally!  After nearly nine (?!) months, my little 'tribute' to Mago Mago Arashi--Episode 50 with the foreign grandparents and Aiba's awesome Engrish.  XDDD  It's one of the few eps. I actually have on my computer since my external HD died over winter and one of the first eps. jom!fc watched together, so it's got a special place in my heart.  ^.^  Not to mention it's got my two current favorite baka boys ♥.

Sho: Eh, everyone, really, really, really thank you very much for this time.  In this large "Tokyo Dome", to the very top, guests have come to support us.  When I see that, I remember that when we debuted, the first two, three years, clearly there weren't that many guests.  Seeing those empty seats was frustrating, so frustrating.  But now, this many guests have gathered... when I see this, I'm happy, so happy I can't describe it.  Everyone, thank you very much.  But it's not only the large stadium, everyone's overwhelming feelings, that love, to us that is the biggest thing.  I think it's wonderful to be able to perform here, to be gathered here with everyone, really it's wonderful, but to your support, each and everyone, one by one, to us that is the happiest feeling. It took us 8 years to get here, to stand here after 8 years, is something we're proud of.  Our 8 years was hard, but it's something engrained in our hearts.  Everyone, coming here today, everyone, thank you very much.  It was fun, thanks!

Ohno: Eh, thank you very much.  Eh... it's an amazingly good atmosphere, I think.  I mean, this kind of atmosphere, really here at Dome, being able to experience it together with everyone for these 3 hours, together with us here.  More and more, together with us, let's create a treasury of life times together.  Really, thank you very much for today.  It was the best!  Thank you for this summer's festivities!

Jun: Eh, [TIME - the power of words], how was it, I wonder?  From tomorrow on, if everyone's lives have been influenced by the message we've hinted at, it will be a happy thing.  From this tour's start, I've been thinking about my own words and their power.  My first impression was our dream.  Our group, Arashi, in 8 years, we've done a lot, been allowed to do a lot.  It's come true or very close, I think.  Years ago, We said we wanted to perform internationally in Asia and last year that came true.  We wanted to perform in Dome and this year in April, we were able to.  And after that, because of everyone's support, we are able to stand here again.  Lots of dreams have come true in that time, but of course, this doesn't mean it's the end.  Again and again, we will have new dreams to pursue and that's what we'll live for.  We use what we've learned in the past 8 years and face forward.  But really, it's not just Dome, in those 8 years, it wasn't due to the five of us alone, it was everyone who is here with us.  Everyone here for helping us accomplish our dreams, thank you.  From now on, again, for the dreams we've drawn out and want to strive for, from now on, for those dreams, come with us.  With that, with everyone, a larger, more magnificent dream can be drawn.  Lastly, it's not just the people here, we're here too.  The five of us in Arashi are here.  And with such friendships, let's meet again with a smile.  Thank you very much.  With that, from the five of us, this song, please listen, "Be With You."

VTR: Junior Sound Story
Ohno: Everyday, you come without fail.  I can only watch you from afar.  Why is it that you look so happy even by yourself?  That day, something happened.  On that time, even though your boyfriend was with you, I knew you weren't happy.
Dude: Shut it already!
Girl: Don't be so selfish!
Dude: We're dating, so deal with it!  I won't be seeing you anymore!
Ohno: Ah, here.
Girl: I don't need it anymore.
Ohno: But, you should treasure your memories.
Girl: What? 
Ohno: But you were happy.
Girl: It's over already.  Satoshi-kun, you're gentle, huh?

Quick question: Does everyone have Tenseikunpu yet?  It's fantastic... I've watched it like six times (Yes, I only just got it on Wednesday evening and it's Saturday morning as I write this >.>  WHAT.).  Anyway, I only ask b/c well... would a detailed summary (trans too long) of the butai help anyone?  I'll even add caps where I can (although is there any way to get VLC to snap at the exact moment you want?  I keep getting a delay of a few seconds so I miss out on the perfect moments BOO).  ;P

Takki: Right, this time the lead is Ohno-kun!  With Akiyama-kun as the supporting role.
Akiyama: Hello, hello.
MC: Today's theme is...!
Ohno: May's illness. (May refering to the month)

VTR:
Ohno (voice-over):  It's been a week since she hasn't come to school. Did something happen? 
Mother: She's locked herself up in her room and hasn't talked to anyone.
Ohno: I see.  Ah, here, today's notes and hand-outs.  Please give them to Maya-chan.
Mother: Thank you as always.  It would be great if Maya would cheer up with this, right?
Ohno (voice-over): Clearly, she's not coming back to school. 
Akiyama: Satoshi! 
Ohno: Un?
Akiyama: Want to go somewhere?
Ohno: I have to get this to Maya-chan.
Akiyama: Maya-chan?  Ah, she hasn't been coming to school lately, huh?  Until she was rejected, she never missed a day of school.
Ohno: Rejected?
Akiyama: You know, there's that roller skating dude, Uchume.  The guy she liked just left her, like tossing her out.  Well, it's not a nice thing to talk about.
Mother: Ah, thank you as always, Ohno-kun.  Wait a minute please.  Maya-chan, Ohno-kun's here.  Thank him for taking his time to come here so often.
Maya: Man, this is annoying.  Thank you as always.
Ohno: Here you go, the usual stuff.  Then, I'll wait for you at school tomorrow.
Ohno (letter): I heard about it, the thing with Uchume-kun.  Even though I can't do anything for you, please remember this one thing. There's a guy who looks forward to seeing you at school.
Maya: Ohno-kun.  Ohno-kun!  I'll see you at school tomorrow.  Good night!
Ohno: The next day, I was able to see her cheerful face again.

Akiyama: Ohno-kun was cool, huh?
Takki: Cool.
MC: The guy's unbelievable, huh?  That Uchume guy...
Akiyama: He was, right?  That roller skater.
MC: That was fairly shady, you failed!
Akiyama: I did?
MC: What kind of feeling did the director give you?
Akiyama: Clearly, well, um... a guy's... something about a love relationship.  This time, I wanted to go to a party with everyone, a tea party!
MC: A tea party?  Like, let's toast!
Akiyama:  Yeah, let's celebrate!  Drinking continuously and then from there go, right.
MC: That's good, yes.  In real life, has that ever happened to you?  A girl you liked took a break from school?
Ohno: Not even once.  For me.
Everyone: Eh?
MC: There's no way, right?
Ohno: There was a girl I liked.
MC: A girl in your class?
Ohno: Yeah, but I just watched her.
Akiyama: Isn't that being a stalker?  You're stalking her!
MC: Thank you very much.  That was Junior Sound Story Two!

SUCH A CUTIE <333.  XDDD  I couldn't help but do this while watching even though I have two presentations to prepare for this week.  Somehow, the busier I'm suppose to be, the more I want to ditch my responsibilities translate.  Anyway, I'm extremely proud of Oh-chan and everything he's accomplished!  Can't wait for my Freestyle to get here.  That being said, he looks tired in some shots during this video.  =/

Voice-over: After this, Ohno-san steps into the studio and show us his talent!

Female host (F): Good morning.  Yes.
Male host (M): Yes.  Eh... let's introduce the artist.  Eh... the artistic Ohno-san?  Or is Arashi's Ohno-san better?
Ohno: Ah, it's fine to go with Arashi.
M: Arashi's.
F: How about 'artist'? (She says this as an English word.)
M: Artist Ohno-san.  Congratulations on your first solo exhibit.
Ohno: Thank you very much.
F: Congratulations.  We have prepared something.

Voice-over:  Teaching himself since ten years ago, Ohno-san has continuously created his works, now numbering over 200 pieces.  Moreover, with a camera he has photographed the various works all over the city.

Voice-over: His unique talent in photography will also be displayed. 


VTR:
Ohno: Since I enjoy it, I've done it constantly.  Somehow, it became like this.
Reporter: Did you research how to make the figures yourself?
Ohno: That's right.  At first, I wasn't able to do it at all.  It was strange and frustrating... *laughs*  Then, I slowly got the hang of it.  I've reached the point of being able to do it as freely as I like.


Voice-over: What does Arashi's member Sakurai-san think of this talent?

Sho: He was constantly saying, "I'm working with clay, I'm working with clay."  Somehow, it was more, how do I say it, I really thought it was clay.  I didn't know that he was creating something this incredible.

Voice-over: The next big thing is this huge object!  On a 6 meter long canvas, in alphametical letters, 'Satoshi'!

Voice-over: Actually, this January, Nihon TV was able to catch a glimpse into the making of this drawing.

[[writing: Secret arrival]]


Voice-over: To keep up his momentum while drawing, he starts off strongly with the 'mothership' of the sign!  To have the colors come out well, the bottom layer is white, then green on top.  After, to make it look worn-out, he carefully lays out the shading (shadowing).  It takes six hours to reach this state!

Voice-over: ? He starts the sign!  First , to have the colors come out prettily, he outlines in white.  Then green goes on top.  Afterwards, to make it look worn-out, he carefully lays out the shadows.  It takes six hours to reach this state!

Ohno: Ah, I'm beat.  My muscles definitely hurt!  This does.  *wiggles finger*

Voice-over: The stiffness of the fingers.

Voice-over: On the third day, the main job is the symbol of the entire piece.  Actually, the form of the person is a cut-out of a real photo of Ohno-san.  And then, the removal of the cut-out.
Voices: Ooh!!
Ohno: Wa~!!  Awesome!!
Voiceover: The theme of his creation is freedom.  In other words, you can do anything.

Sho: You're not suppose to eat it!
Jun: Isn't that your responsibility!!  Why did you go off and eat it yourself!
Nino: How was it?
Voice-over: While being Leader, he is constantly teased.
Ohno: Delicious!
Voice-over: When it comes to dance, however, he produces his own choreography at Arashi's lives!

Voice-over: Four years ago on 24H TV, something life-changing occurred to him.

[[writing: Teaches dance to the students of Rogakkou]]

Ohno (writing): Then everyone, let's do our best!
Kids (writing): Let's do our best!!
Voice-over: To the deaf students of Rougakkou, in order to fulfill their dreams, he teaches them to dance for two months.
Ohno: That's right, that's right.

[[writing: A secret to the staff, he bought a sign language book and studied]]

Voice-over: Unknown to the staff, he studied sign language as well!  And then, the Budokan Spring Play.  The dance was a huge success!
MC1: Ohno-kun, isn't that great?
MC2: That's good, isn't it?
Voice-over: He is always showing a vacant expression, but underneath is a passionate person!  For Ohno-san, an episode that makes numerous appearance is his mother.

Voice-over: When asked, 'If an earthquake occurred, what would you take before running?'  He answered, 'Mommy' showing a deep love for her.

Voice-over: Such a deep love might have been the root of his artwork.

[[writing: What is 'art'?]]


Voice-over: To Ohno-san, what is 'art'?
Ohno: #1, it's my own time, I guess.  Without that, I think I'd die.  When it gets really busy, I really want to do my own hobbies.  Since I can do that, it's like 'All right, let's try my best at work tomorrow.'


M: That's something.  Even with Arashi's debut, it was life-changing more when you were 23, that sort of fulfillment.
Ohno: That's right.  Well, at first I really didn't have a reason for wanting to become Arashi. 
M: The most unleader-like Leader, right?
Ohno: It's like that even now. *laughs*
M: With what kind of confidence are you drawing?
Ohno: Well, I really don't get it either.  With the various jobs I get to do... it's not really confidence.  At the beginning I would be really worried, but somehow it's gradually gone away.  It has become a natural.
M: Natural?
Ohno: This feeling.
M: This feeling?
Ohno: That's how it is.
M: Not something fixed, just naturally. 
Ohno: Just naturally.
M: That's truly incredible.  And with that, he was able to produce such works.
F: That's true, right?
M: That's right.  It's superb work, I must say.  What planning did you do for these?
Ohno: The figures?
M: Yes.
Ohno: I'd always done drawings as a hobby, but for the figures, I wanted to make something more real.  Something with more form, so I started playing with clay.  At first I couldn't make anything, so I continued doing it until I could.  Once I could, I thought, 'Let's try making 100 of these.'  I just decided that on my own.  As I was making them, at times I would think, 'Ah, I wish the fans could see this.'
M: So that's why you had an exhibit.  There are so many people, it seems quite tough to get into the exhibit.
F: There was a huge line!
M: A huge line!
Ohno: Even though they came, there were guests who couldn't get in.  I'm truly sorry.  *bows head*  But from tomorrow, for those people who came to see, there will be another chance.  It's been decided that on the Johnny's cell phone site, Johnny's web, you will be able to see various things.
M: Such as these black figures?  Here you go.  Speaking of these figures, it's not the whole body.
Ohno: Right, right.
M: When it comes to Ohno-kun, that's not the case, right?
Ohno: For me, it's just the face.
M: Is there a meaning to this?
Ohno: No, well, I would make the face, and with just that, it seemed to come alive.  So it was like the body's not worth it.
M: Like you can see from just the face?
Ohno: That's right, I was satisfied with just the face.  With that, it's good enough.
M: Meaning you would like someone to be able to understand by just looking at the face?
Ohno: That was the feeling I was going with while making them.
F: Did you attach names to them?
Ohno: I didn't name them.  Not even one.
M: This is it.  The figures he had created himself and the pictures he took of them.  The photos are meant to be Ohno-kun's art as well right?
Ohno: That's right, I did the photography.
M: Looking at it, how do you say, you took it from various angles too right?
Ohno: Yes.
M: Taking it like that, didn't that feel strange?
Ohno: It was, but it seemed in only the really hard places where I could take good ones.
M: That's life.
Ohno: That's life.

M: I'd like you to return to being Arashi's leader for a bit.
Ohno: Yes.
M: The new CD single is on sale right?
Ohno: Yes, it is.  It's already out.

M: Ah, that's right.  You're also doing a play?
Ohno: That's right.  From March 21st in Aoyama.  It's part of the Puu series, something I've always done.  This time it's the fourth round.
M:  For plays, do you change, Ohno-kun?
M: That's right, I change basically.
Host: It's sort of a strange feeling.
Ohno: Is that so?  It's true, when it comes to stageplays, I have some confidence, so some things change.
M: What do you think of these?  Of his exhibit?
Lady: Well, for Japanese artists, there's Nakamita-san whose artwork in in New York and is also very popular in Europe.  I think it would be wonderful to have an exhibition in New York and London.  There wwould definitely be a big reaction!
Ohno: I don't have the confidence for that.
M: That's troubling, you should go for it!
Ohno: I would like to do it, around the world.
M: Decide!  Will you do it?
Ohno: YES!
